Game Play: Form groups of 4. Each group will get a set of 8 cards (no peeking!). Take turns being the one to look at a card and attempt to draw what is on the card using a drawing app like Doodle Buddy.
Draw so that your team can see what you are drawing. A group timer will be set for 2 minutes. The goal is for your team to successfully guess what you are trying to draw before the time runs out.
Rules:
You can not aid your team by the use of body language or gesturing.
You can draw pictures only. No text or numbers are allowed.
You may not talk while you are drawing or indicate if they are getting close. You may only let them know if they guess correctly.
Give your team a point if they guess correctly in the allotted time.
Game Play: 4 iPads and a Host iPad will be set up at the front of the room. 4 People (1 from each STS team) will be selected to come up and play the Trivia Round. A Christmas Trivia Question will be asked by the host. Each of the four players then have the opportunity to try and be the first to buzz in. The person who successfully buzzes in will answer the question. If they are correct, they will get a point. If they are incorrect, they will lose a point and the person to their right in turn will get the opportunity to answer the question correctly. If they do, their team will score the point. Turns continue to the right until the correct answer is given or there are no more players.
Then 4 new players (1 from each STS team) will come to the front and play the next round. This will continue for 20 rounds and then the winning team will be determined by the points earned. In the event of a tie, we will have tiebreaker rounds.
Game Play: Open up a drawing app like Doodle Buddy. Quickly write down your answer when you see a Christmas Carol Picture. When the host calls "Showdown!," hold up your answers. How many Christmas Carols can you guess correctly?
